A brief biography
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
I'm passionate about typography. The phrase opposite uses every letter in the alphabet and is familiar to designers who were taught the fundamentals of communicating through type and images. This was my introduction to design when I studied at Falmouth School of Art in the 1980s.
I then worked in London with numerous outstanding art directors, designers, writers, illustrators and photographers for various world-class companies and organisations. These included British Airways, Motorola, GE Capital and Pizza Hut. This experience helped me hone my skills to deliver high-quality, exciting commercial results.
I moved back to the South West 30 years ago to set up a design studio. My clients range from small to medium size businesses whom I help in various ways. This has included developing and implementing complete corporate identities, advertising planning, creative campaigns and the full range of design for print - brochures, leaflets, posters and stationary.
In the last 10 years, my focus has turned to digital solutions, helping my clients develop their online brands. In addition, I am a photographer and filmmaker.
